SEN Teacher

Job Description

Are you a passionate and resilient SEN Teacher ready to inspire, support and transform lives? Zest Education is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive SEN school in Coventry, seeking a skilled teacher to join their dedicated team this September.

This is more than just a teaching role – it’s a chance to make a real impact in the lives of children with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering creative, adaptive lessons for small groups of pupils with SEN

  • Building trusting, consistent relationships with pupils who may need extra support

  • Working collaboratively with experienced support staff, therapists, and the wider SEN team

  • Creating an inclusive and safe classroom where all learners can thrive

  • Monitoring progress, setting realistic goals, and celebrating every win – big or small

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS or equivalent – SEN teaching experience is essential

  • A strong understanding of a variety of needs, from ASD to SEMH

  • A calm, empathetic approach with excellent behaviour management skills

  • A creative mindset and willingness to adapt teaching styles

  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
