Are you a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in a friendly primary school in Penkridge? We are currently seeking a motivated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and help children reach their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you’ll be working within a Key Stage 1 (KS1) classroom, supporting both the class teacher and individual pupils. Your day will include helping with learning activities, supporting small groups, preparing classroom materials, and ensuring every child feels confident and included in their learning journey.
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging KS1 lessons
Work one-to-one or with small groups of pupils
Assist with classroom preparation and resources
Encourage and motivate children to learn and achieve
Help maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Experience working with children (school or childcare setting)
A positive, patient, and caring attitude
Strong communication skills and a passion for helping young learners
A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) – desirable but not essential
Flexible working days (choose full-time or part-time)
