KS2 Teacher

Job Description

Are you passionate about education and working with children? Do you have recent school-based experience? Zest is working closely with a school in the Yardley who are looking to recruit for a KS2 Teacher to work on a full time basis from March 2024. The role is initially for a term but may continue until the end of the academic year for the right candidate.

The three-form entry have an amazing team of children, supportive parents and dedicated team who strive to provide a curriculum that encourages all pupils to grow into independent hard-working individuals. The school is also run by a passionate head teacher who supports all members of staff through continued professional development.

The successful candidate must be a proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of having strong behaviour management skills. You must also be able to consistently plan and deliver rich learning opportunities to pupils using a range of suitable learning techniques, strategies, and styles. Having experience teaching in KS2 will be required for this role.

All planning will be provided for this role however you will be required to complete all marking.

All candidates applying for this role must hold a valid QTS. The pay for this role will start from £140 a day dependent on references and experience.

Newley qualified teachers and experienced teachers will both be considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
