Zest Education is proud to be offering a full-time Teaching Assistant position at a welcoming school in Erdington to work across their year 3 and 4 classes. The role is due to start in September 2024 on an ongoing basis.

As a Teaching Assistant working across the year 3 and 4 classes, you will play a vital role in supporting the students’ learning journey. Your responsibilities will include assisting the class teachers in preparing materials, providing one-on-one and small group support to students who need extra help, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will need to be adaptable, patient, and able to work collaboratively with both students and teachers. Strong communication skills and a passion for education are also essential for this role. As you may be required to complete some small group interventions, experience and/or knowledge of the lower KS2 National Curriculum is essential.

Pay will start from £75 per day, this will be dependent on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
