Early Career Teacher, Erdington

Job Description

Zest Education are recruiting for an ECT who is or will be qualified by September 2022 to work within a secondary school in the Erdington area.

The school has high standards and expectations of all of their students. They want the very best for their students and for their school to be a rich learning community where children grow in an environment based on family values with respect at the heart.

Children are challenged to aspire to be the very best they can be in all aspects of their lives. They are supported to believe that they can achieve anything if they work hard and develop the resilience needed to overcome the many challenges that they will face along the way.

This role is for one full school academic year and starts in September 2022.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

The school is looking to support an early career teacher through their induction year.

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
