Job Description

Are you a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with Autism (ASC)? If so, Zest Education is seeking a proactive and experienced HLTA to join a special educational needs school in Warwick starting in October 2024.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the educational team, providing essential support to students aged 3-18 with Autism. Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers in delivering tailored lessons, helping students with their learning and development, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment within the school.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 or higher qualification for Higher Level Teaching Assistants and a proven track record of working with individuals with Special Educational Needs. Strong communication skills, empathy, and a genuine passion for education are essential qualities we are looking for in the successful candidate.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
