Food Technology Teacher

Job Description

Zest is seeking a full-time Food Technology teacher to start in January 2025 for a school in the Cannock area. Ideally the school would like a creative and dynamic teacher to join their department who aims to build positive relationships with students and staff and is passionate about improving the learning outcomes for all students. Subject knowledge up to KS4 is essential. Additionally, the school offers fantastic facilities for excellent food technology lessons.

Not only does the school have a great reputation in the local community, but the successful applicant would also be joining a supportive leadership structure that focuses on the ethos of building a community for the future, with students being taught vital skills for later in life. The school site is easily accessible via public transport and there is plenty of on-site parking.

Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level (not essential)
– Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
– Ability to plan and deliver effective lessons that cater to students of varying abilities
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Commitment to the academic and personal development of students
