Zest Education are currently recruiting for a full time teaching assistant at a busy and thriving school in the Bournville area of Birmingham.
This role will be working across a Y4 and Y5 class to support individual learning needs and as a general TA support across 2 classes. The school are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and dedicated individual who can join their team on a full time basis.
The role will involve supporting a child with SEMH and focus within the classroom. You will need to be patient and compassionate and be able to stay calm in stressful situations. You will need to be a good team player and be willing to go the extra mile whenever needed.
This wonderful school has a fantastic team of teachers and staff which are striving to take the school to the next level of success. This role is starting as soon as the successful candidate is appointed and will potentially become a permanent contract for the right candidate.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
