Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic SEND school in Leamington Spa.

At our school, we pride ourselves on providing a top-quality education for students aged eight to nineteen with Autism (ASC). With a recent Ofsted report of OUTSTANDING, we offer a supportive and nurturing environment for both students and staff.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include working closely with small groups of children, collaborating with the class teacher and other teaching assistants, and adapting to the unique learning needs of each student.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with special educational needs and a flexible approach to their work. If you are confident, enthusiastic, and passionate about building trusting relationships with students, we want to hear from you.

The role:

– Utilize your knowledge and experience to identify and engage with different learning needs
– Build trusting relationships with students to help them overcome learning challenges
– Assist students in learning efficiently through one-to-one sessions and in small groups

Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults with special educational needs is a must!

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
