Full-Time Teaching Assistant
1:1 Support | Harborne | September 2025 Start

Are you a passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey? Zest Education is proud to be working alongside a highly regarded Junior and Infants school in the Harborne area to recruit a dedicated full-time TA to provide 1:1 support for a child with ADHD and behavioural needs.

About the Role:

Starting as soon as possible in September 2025, this is a long-term, full-time opportunity to work within a school renowned for its inclusive ethos and outstanding academic achievements. You will be working closely with a child who requires consistent support to maintain focus, manage behaviour, and thrive in a structured classroom environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing 1:1 support for a child with ADHD and behavioural challenges

  • Promoting positive behaviour strategies and helping the child stay engaged with learning

  • Building a trusting relationship that nurtures the pupil’s confidence and emotional development

  • Working closely with class teachers and the SEND team to implement tailored support plans

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent – this is essential

  • Experience working with children with SEND

  • A calm, patient and adaptable approach to learning support

  • Full availability for the duration of the assignment
