Zest Education is working closely with a warm and welcoming primary school in the Tamworth area, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team after the October half term. This role will run until the Christmas holidays, with the possibility of continuing into the new year.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both the class teacher and pupils. Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery
Providing one-to-one or small group support to children
Supporting pupils with additional needs
Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Supporting behaviour management and encouraging positive interactions
Contributing to assessment and feedback under teacher guidance

The ideal candidate will be:
Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) – preferred
Experienced working in a primary school setting
Confident supporting learning
Passionate about education and child development
Patient, adaptable, and nurturing in their approach
A good communicator and effective team player
Knowledgeable in safeguarding

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
