Part-Time PPA Teacher – Redditch | 0.5 Contract | September 2025 Start
The perfect role for a flexible, passionate educator seeking a rewarding part-time position.
Zest Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Redditch, seeking a part-time PPA teacher to join their team from November 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is looking for greater flexibility while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
About the Role:
This role involves delivering high-quality PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) cover across a range of year groups. Working on a 0.5 contract (2.5 days per week), you’ll support teachers across the school by leading engaging lessons that keep learning on track.
Wednesdays are a fixed working day, with flexibility available for the remaining hours, to be agreed with the successful candidate.
You’ll work across multiple key stages, so adaptability and confidence in delivering across the primary curriculum is essential.
There is no planning or assessment required beyond delivering the lessons already in place – allowing you to focus on teaching and classroom presence.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’d love to hear from teachers who:
Are qualified and experienced across the primary phase.
Can build strong relationships quickly with both pupils and colleagues.
Are confident, reliable, and calm under pressure.
Have a warm, engaging teaching style and enjoy working across different age groups.
Are great communicators and true team players.
Access to your own transport is preferred due to the school’s location.
Whether you’re looking for a better work-life balance, returning to teaching after a break, or just seeking a fresh challenge in a supportive school, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
If you’re ready to enjoy a rewarding role that offers variety, flexibility, and impact – apply today with Zest Education and join a school that values passionate, professional educators. To find out more, email Charlie at charlie@zesteducation.co.uk or ‘apply for job’ at the top of the page to submit your details.
Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
