Are you looking to take a step back from the classroom? Are you looking to reduce your working hours? Zest are recruiting for a part time Y2 teacher to work every Monday and Tuesday (0.4 contract) at a busy primary school in Bromsgrove. The role will require you to plan for part of the day and then deliver lessons and PPA time across KS1.
The school itself a good rated primary which has a strong focus on inclusion and equality. The school benefits from excellent indoor and outdoor facilities and aims to ensure all children can access a challenging and inspiring curriculum.
The successful teacher must be able to identify and target individual learning needs, whilst also having a firm but fair approach within the classroom. You will be able to support all areas of KS1 and be adaptable in your approach to teaching. You will also need to be hard-working, professional and a strong team-player.
This position will be starting in October 2023 until Easter 2024 initially, with a view to continue until the end of the academic year for the right candidate.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
