Full time TA

Zest Education are recruiting a full time TA for a long-term role in Bromsgrove to start from October half term to continue until the end of the academic year.

The role will be working within the Year 2 class working with the whole class and with small groups to support core subjects and reading. You will need to be able to build good rapport and have a calm and approachable manner whilst demonstrating a good understanding of the national curriculum. You will understand the needs of individual children and the class as a whole.

The successful candidate must:

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or above) in a relevant childcare subject
• Be adaptable, efficient, and hard-working classroom assistants
• Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Be consistent in maintaining high standards
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of the national curriculum
• Have previous experience of working within a similar role

If you have previous experience working with phonics then this would be advantageous but is not essential.
