Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of primary children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Zest Education are working with a wonderful Primary school based in Sutton Coldfield, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a 0.5 day basis starting at 12pm until 3.15 or 3:30pm, the start date of this role would be ASAP in January 2025.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting structured play activities during lunchtime, facilitating small group interventions, and providing classroom support under the guidance of the class teacher. Understanding the needs of children with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD, is essential for this position. Your role will involve making a significant impact on the educational journey of these students, helping them achieve their full potential.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
