0.6 PPA Teacher

Job Description

Itching for a better work life balance? Still wanting to teach but wanting less responsibility? If so, listen up!

Zest is currently working alongside a primary school in the Kingstanding area who are looking for a PPA teacher to work on a 0.6 contract. The school are looking for the successful candidate to start in September 2024 and will continue for a minimum of 1 term, with the potential to extend for the right candidate.

The school aim to create a positive and caring environment in which every child has the equal opportunity to realise their true potential. The team of fantastic staff work along side each other to support all pupils with their academic, social, and emotional needs. The school also have a strong network for pupils with SEND, ensuring they are able to meet the needs of each pupil.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold a valid QTS.
  • Be able to build professional relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Be comfortable working pupils of all ages.
  • Have a good knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.

The pay for this role will start from £120 a day, dependent on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
