A school in Solihull are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on an on-going basis to work 1-1 with a child in lower key stage 2 with SEMH needs.

The successful candidate must:

  • Provide specific social, emotional, mental health sessions under the direction of the teacher and SENDCo
  • Provide learning support to meet the needs of the child
  • Encourage the child to interact with the class and engage in activities
  • Promote good pupil conduct encouraging them to take responsibility for their behaviour
  • Prepare resources for learning activities and assist the child in their use
  • Uphold the school’s policies and procedures relating to child and data protection

Pay is dependent on experience and references.
