Zest Education is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a full-time teaching assistant. Starting in October 2024, this position offers a long-term commitment until the end of the academic year in July 2025, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the ideal candidate.
As a Teaching Assistant at Zest Education, you will be working closely with a child in the Y1 class, providing invaluable support with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) and behavioural challenges. We are seeking a reliable and approachable individual who can serve as a positive role model for the student, fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
Located at a charming infants school in Kings Heath, Birmingham, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a welcoming community with excellent public transport links to the city centre. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
