Zest are recruiting for a part time teaching assistant to work 1:1 at a primary school in Sutton Coldfield.
This is an afternoons only role, Monday – Friday working 1:1 with a child in KS1 with autism who needs extra support within the classroom.
This Primary School is a small, rural village school who aim to offer a high standard of primary education and a wide range of learning opportunities. Learning to work and play together and caring for others are important factors in the life of this school. They consider that it is important to build links with the wider community and value the support and involvement of parents and carers. This primary academy is privileged to serve a thriving local community; where what they do is led by the children, for the children. As a result of their innovative, ambitious educational offer, children leave the school equipped with the tools to continue to thrive and grow, when taking their next steps into the wider world.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
