Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child with an EHCP at a reputable school in Atherstone. The school was rated Good in their recent Ofsted Inspection. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting the pupil’s educational journey, ensuring that they make significant progress while maintaining a warm and friendly atmosphere conducive to growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
– Utilise your experience in a primary school setting to provide tailored support to the child.
– Possess a CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
– Demonstrate proficiency in English and Maths to facilitate effective learning.
– Apply your expertise in working with children with additional needs to cater to the child’s unique requirements.
– Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support.
– Engage with parents and actively participate in review meetings to monitor the child’s progress.
– Approach the role with empathy and a caring demeanor to create a supportive environment.
– Work cohesively as part of a team to ensure holistic development.
– Showcase dedication, commitment, and passion in supporting the child’s educational journey.

Position Details:
– Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 22.5 hours per week.
– September start required with an end date at the conclusion of the academic year.
