Are you looking to make a difference in the field of education? Zest Education is currently seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a school in the Marston Green area. This role is available for an immediate start and may extend through September. This is on a full time basis.
At this school, you will be working with students aged between 5 and 14 years who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a teaching assistant, your role will involve:
Responsibilities:
– Collaborating closely with the student to facilitate their access to the curriculum and help them achieve their educational objectives.
– Providing tailored support and mentorship to aid the student’s academic and personal development.
– Working in partnership with school staff to establish a positive and supportive learning environment for the student.
To excel in this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children, preferably in educational or related settings.
– A genuine passion for assisting students with special educational needs.
– Excellent communication abilities and a proven capacity to work harmoniously within a team.
– Flexibility and the ability to adapt to meet the specific requirements of the student.
– Any relevant training or certifications in special education would be beneficial.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
