1:1 Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Zest are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1-1 teaching assistant to support a SEN child with high needs at a primary school just outside Erdington starting in January 2025. As the ideal candidate, you must have prior experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) to excel in this crucial role.

Responsibilities will include providing personalized academic support, assisting with daily activities, implementing tailored learning strategies, and fostering a supportive environment for the child’s growth and development. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of SEN requirements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
