Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a part-time 1:1 role at a primary school in Cannock. You will be working in KS2 with a child who requires additional support with learning, has ADHD, and may need to spend some time outside of the classroom. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a lovely 1 form entry school on the outskirts of Cannock.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide tailored support to the child in their learning activities
– Assist in implementing strategies to help manage ADHD symptoms
– Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with teachers and parents to track progress and adjust support as needed
Requirements:
– Relevant experience working with children with additional needs
– Understanding of ADHD and strategies to support children with the condition
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a 1:1 setting

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
