Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Y2 Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Tamworth.
In this role, you will provide crucial support to a child in Year 2 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The pupil does not display any dangerous behaviours and is known for their positive attitude towards 1:1 learning experiences and benefits from a combination of structured learning sessions, choice activities, and sensory breaks.
Position: 1:1 Y2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Tamworth
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Start Date: ASAP
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a 1:1 setting
– Possession of a Level 2 or above qualification in childcare

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
