Academic Coach – Maths

A popular secondary school in North Birmingham have asked Zest Education to help find an innovative academic coach to work within their Maths department starting in September 2024 (or sooner).

To be considered for this role ideally you will ideally hold a degree in Mathematics and have an interest in working with young people in a school environment.

This is a very popular school with increasingly high standards, so the expectations for staff and students reflect this. Excellent communication skills and strong behaviour management are mandatory.

Expectations:

• You will be required to support students across KS3 and KS4 within the Maths department providing interventions to boost attainment and results.
• You will work 1:1 and with small groups on a sessional basis.
• All applicants who are successful with our initial screening stage, will be put forward to the school for consideration, and the chosen candidate will begin the role in January 2022.

Daily rates are between £78-85 per day (PAYE), subject to experience and qualifications.
