Zest Education are seeking an experienced Art Technician to join a secondary school in the Castle Bromwich area. The successful candidate will have experience working in a secondary school environment. The school have advised that this role can run on either a full-time or part-time basis. The role is due to commence in January 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year.
– Assisting the Teacher in preparing and setting up equipment for practical lessons.
– Ensuring all equipment and materials are safely stored and maintained.
– Ordering and managing stock levels of materials.
– Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions.
– Adhering to school regulations and ensuring a safe working environment.
– A Bachelors degree in an Art related subject.
– Previous experience as an Art technician in a secondary school.
– Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– Knowledge of the Art curriculum and practical requirements.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
