Zest Education are closely working with a secondary school in Birmingham that are looking for an arts teacher to join them starting in September 2022 for a full-time position.

With excellent transport links in close proximity to the school, the school community reflects the multi-cultural diversity of Birmingham. Pupils are challenged both inside and outside of the classroom, the school achieve effective and stimulating learning and encourage self-discovery.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of art, able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS5
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

 

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
