Biology Teacher – Wolverhampton

Job Description

Zest Education have the honour of working closely with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school in Wolverhampton, working with them to source a part time (0.6) Biology teacher. This role starts in September 2024 for an initial period of 1 term.

Ideally the school are looking for a candidate that is passionate about the subject of Biology with experience of teaching at KS5, however the school will consider applicants who have experience of teaching the subject up to KS4.  The successful applicant will be joining a hardworking and dedicated department who are striving to continually improve academic results across the whole department.

The successful applicant will have:
  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of Biology and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management
