Are you a Business Studies and Economics Teacher? Do you have a passion for education and teaching young people? If so, this role could be for you!

Zest Education are looking to recruit an business studio and economics teacher for a secondary school in the Staffordshire area. This role is full time to start September 2024 for a minimum of one term.

The school are looking for an experienced Business Studies and Economics teacher to plan and deliver high quality lessons across KS4 and KS5. A successful applicant will be passionate about their subject whilst wanting to work collaboratively with the departmental team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Business Studies and excellent subject knowledge across KS4 and KS5
  • A team ethos and desire to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Be confident in using ICT in their professional role

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
