Business Studies and Economics Teacher

Zest Education are working closely alongside a high performing school in the Staffordshire area and have been asked to assist with the search for a Business Studies and Economics Teacher. This role is full time from January 2025 for a minimum of one half term, with the possibility to extend to the next half term should the candidate be the right fit.

The school are looking for an experienced Business Studies and Economics teacher to plan and deliver high quality lessons across KS4 and KS5. A successful applicant will be passionate about their subject whilst wanting to work collaboratively with the departmental team.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
• A strong passion for the subject of Business Studies and excellent subject knowledge across KS4 and KS5
• A team ethos and desire to be part of a strong team environment
• The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Be confident in using ICT in their professional role
