Zest Education are working closely alongside a high performing school in the Sutton Coldfield area and have been asked to assist with the search for a Business Studies and Economics Teacher. This role is full time and will commence January 2024 for a minimum of one term.
The school are looking for an experienced Business Studies and Economics teacher to plan and deliver high quality lessons across KS4 and KS5. A successful applicant will be passionate about their subject whilst wanting to work collaboratively with the departmental team.
One fundamental the school lives by is to enable every individual to fulfil their potential by ensuring academic skills and personal development go hand in hand. The successful candidate will have to quickly adapt and create relationships with the wider school staff and have proven experience with classroom behaviour management.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Business Studies and excellent subject knowledge across KS4 and KS5
- A team ethos and desire to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be confident in using ICT in their professional role
