Zest Education are looking to appoint an innovative, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who can engage students and ignite their academic potential. The successful candidate will find our students enthusiastic, eager to learn and willing to co-operate.

You will be joining a friendly, happy, vibrant Academy based in the Great Barr area, which is highly successful, serving a multi-cultural and diverse community, where your innovation, creativity and passion will be valued and fostered.

Support from established and experienced colleagues is available and therefore the post is suitable for a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced teacher wishing to gain further experience.

From September 2022, the school are launching our Digital Transformation Strategy, where students will learn by iPad and staff will develop their skills of teaching and learning though Apple Technology as well as in the traditional way. This is an exciting opportunity for a progressive and ambitious teacher.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of Business and able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS5
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

This is a maternity cover full-time role starting in September 2022 for one academic year.

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
