Zest Education are working alongside a Secondary School in the Solihull area who are looking to recruit an engaging and enthusiastic Business Studies teacher. The school have advised that this role can run on either a full-time or part-time basis. The role is due to commence in September 2024 and has the potential to run for the full academic year.

The successful applicant will be joining a highly successful school who have recently achieved fantastic results across GCSE and A-Level. The successful applicant will also be responsible for helping to develop the student’s passions for business and entrepreneurship.

The Business Studies department is a highly innovative department which benefits from excellent classroom facilities and resources. The subject of Business Studies is one of the most popular subjects chosen at this school, meaning the successful applicant will have the dedication to continue to drive the department forward in its success.

The school is also in a fantastic location which benefits from both onsite parking and easily accessible public transport links.

Successful candidates will have:
  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong enthusiasm for the subject of Business Studies and the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS4 and KS5 curriculum
  • A team ethos and the ability to build strong and professional relationships with both colleagues and pupils
  • Experience in classroom and behaviour management

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
