Caretaker

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a Caretaker for a fantastic school in West Bromwich. We are seeking an experienced individual to take on the responsibility of maintaining and managing the school site to ensure a safe and clean environment for students, staff, and visitors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Opening and closing the school site
– Conducting general maintenance tasks within the school premises
– Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the school facilities
– Monitoring and managing health and safety procedures
– Liaising with external contractors for repairs and maintenance
– Managing equipment and supplies inventory
– Responding promptly to emergency situations
– Performing other duties as required by the school leadership team

**Requirements:**

– Previous experience as a caretaker or site manager
– Transferable “handy man” skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Good communication and interpersonal abilities
– Willingness to learn and develop new skills
