Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a primary school environment? We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our team at a primary school in Sutton Coldfield. This part-time position, offering 20 hours a week, will require someone reliable and proactive to take on the responsibility of opening and closing the premises effectively.
As the Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the school premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Starting in January 2025, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the school and support the educational experience of young learners.
Key responsibilities include:
– Opening and closing the premises at designated times
– Conducting regular security checks
– Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the premises
– Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance tasks
– Coordinating with school staff for any specific requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility. Previous experience in a similar role and basic maintenance knowledge are desirable but not essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is recent and relevant experience, ideally school-based within the last 5 years.
