Zest Education is currently recruiting for a School Catering Assistant to join a thriving school in Dudley. The ideal candidate will have previous catering experience and be available to start as soon as possible. This role offers free parking for convenience.
Responsibilities:
– Assisting with the preparation and serving of food for school meals
– Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and hygienic
– Following all food safety regulations and guidelines
– Communicating effectively with other kitchen staff and school personnel
– Supporting the head chef and kitchen team with various tasks as needed
Qualifications:
– Must have a valid food hygiene certificate
– Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is preferred
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is recent and relevant experience, ideally school-based within the last 5 years.
