Zest Education is excited to be recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant position at a wonderful primary school in Frankley, Birmingham.

We are ideally looking for a dedicated and motivated individual with a strong work-ethic to join the Y5 class on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate should be hard-working, passionate, and committed, with a solid grasp of the national curriculum and a strong focus on child safeguarding.

As the class TA, your role will require you to be in from 08:15 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, assisting the class teacher in various activities. Your responsibilities will include supporting small and large groups of children, engaging in 1-1 and guided reading sessions, and providing individualised assistance to children as needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with the teacher to prepare classroom resources and set up the learning/lessons for the day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
