Class Teacher – Burton
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Until the end of the term, with the possibility of extension

Zest Education is supporting a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Burton that is looking for a motivated Class Teacher to join their team from January. The Role

You will take responsibility for a primary class and deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that support pupils of all abilities. You will work closely with teaching assistants, follow the school’s curriculum, and contribute to everyday school life. This role suits a teacher who enjoys building strong relationships and creating a calm, purposeful classroom.

The Ideal Candidate

You should have:

  • QTS

  • Recent and relevant primary teaching experience

  • Strong behaviour-management skills

  • Clear communication and strong organisation

  • A creative, adaptable approach to planning

  • The ability to work effectively with pupils, parents and staff

  • A commitment to safeguarding and maintaining high standards
