Are you passionate about education and working with children? Do you have recent school-based? A primary school in Burton have asked us to recruit for qualified Classroom Assistant to start September 2022 until December 2022.

The school is a busy 3 form Entry school who are ideally looking for a Teaching Assistant that is experienced in working across KS1 and/or KS2. The school aims to raise standards, value individual achievements, and promote respect and care throughout school. They are looking for a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant who will ensure that all children have the support they need.

The chosen candidate will work in a Y2 & Y3 class supporting the class teacher on a general basis, however there may be times you are required to work on a 1:1 basis with specific pupils or smaller groups. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they are keen to learn, have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team and enjoy working with small children. You need to be committed to providing the children with exceptional learning and support, in a fun and caring classroom environment and be willing to go that extra mile. Pay is dependent on experience: £65-£80 per day.

Please note that to be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or above (in a relevant subject) or have at least 3 months referenceable experience within the last 5 years. You must be available full time.
