Are you passionate about education and working with children? Do you have recent school-based or Nursery experience? A primary school in Stoke on Trent have asked us to recruit for Level 3 qualified EYFS Classroom Assistant to start September for 1 term, with potential to extend.

The school is based in Hanley and is popular amongst the community. The schools aim is for children to make strong process from their starting points so high-quality support is essential in early years. The school is looking for a motivated and passionate teaching assistant who will be able to provide excellent support to the class teacher daily.

The chosen candidate will work in a Nursery class supporting the class teacher on a general basis, however there may be times you are required to work on a 1:1 basis with specific pupils or smaller groups. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they are keen to learn, have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team and enjoy working with small children. You need to be committed to providing the children with exceptional learning and support, in a fun and caring classroom environment and be willing to go that extra mile. Pay is dependent on experience: £65-£80 per day.

Please note that to be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or above (in a relevant subject) or have at least 3 months referenceable experience within the last 5 years. You must be available full time.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
