Classroom Assistant

Job Description

Job Title: Classroom Assistant – SEN School

Location – Rugby

Position Type – Full-time, temporary (with potential for permanent)

Start Date – Immediate

A reputable SEN school in Rugby is seeking a dedicated Classroom Assistant to join their team. This full-time position is available immediately and will run through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of turning into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
– Assist the teacher in implementing individual education plans for students
– Support students with special educational needs in their learning and development
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with other staff members and parents to ensure the best possible support for students

Requirements:
– Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably within a SEN setting
– Knowledge and understanding of supporting children with special educational needs
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN would be advantageous

Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
