A good school in Tamworth are looking to recruit a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to work across KS1 on a full time basis starting September 2022 for the Autumn term.

The school has a strong focus on inclusion and equality and aims to provide all pupils with essential life skills. You will be working with an experienced team in a supportive and friendly environment, with good resources and facilities available.

The chosen candidate will work across KS1 supporting the class teacher on a general basis, however there may be times you are required to work on a 1:1 basis with specific pupils or smaller groups. The school are looking for someone who has a positive, can do attitude and who is more than willing to go that extra mile to support children who needs it. Behaviour throughout the school can be challenging, so good behaviour management is essential.

Pay is dependent on experience: £65-£75 per day.

Please note that to be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or above (in a relevant subject) or have at least 3 months referenceable experience within the last 5 years. Due to the location of the school your own transport will be essential.
