Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join a highly reputable school in Handsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a sought-after educational environment where your skills and commitment will be valued and rewarded. The role will involve working across KS1 and lower KS2, starting as soon as possible.

By joining their team as a Classroom Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners and contribute to their personal and academic growth.
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Your main responsibilities will include:
– Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
– Supporting individual students or small groups with their learning needs
– Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
– Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborating with the teacher to implement lesson plans and activities
The ideal candidate for this position will have a genuine passion for working with children and a strong desire to contribute to their educational development. Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is essential for this role. The school is particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate the following qualities:
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience and empathy towards students of all abilities
– Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible. The working hours will be in line with the school’s timetable.
The pay for this role will start from £75 a day.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
