Zest Education are recruiting exclusively for 2 fantastic classroom support assistant roles at a busy primary school in Solihull. The positions will be starting in September 2022 and will continue for the full academic year.

Both roles will be part time (3 days per week/0.6) and will vary between working within small groups to help with the current catch up system within schools and working on a 1-1 basis to support children who need individual support, as and when required. The year groups (EYFS and KS1) will be assigned upon successful interview.

The successful classroom assistant must:

  • Hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification (or above) in a relevant subject
  • Be a reliable and approachable teaching assistant
  • Be proficient in literacy, numeracy, and ICT
  • Understand the importance of learning life skills at an early age
  • Show a passion for education and have the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Have a good understanding of the national curriculum
  • Be an adaptable, fun and hard working individual

If you have previous experience working with phonics and ‘Read Write inc’ then this would be advantageous but is not essential.
