Are you passionate about education and making a positive impact on the lives of young minds? Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is currently working in close partnership with a lovely school in Handsworth to find a dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join their team.
Located in the heart of Handsworth, this school is renowned for its commitment to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be a part of this vibrant and supportive educational setting.
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one assistance to students, helping with classroom management, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient and empathetic approach, and a genuine passion for supporting student success.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
– A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting student learning
– A relevant qualification in education or child development would be advantageous

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
