Start Date: Immediate Opportunity Available
Location: Bridgnorth & surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience


About the Role

Zest Education is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a brilliant secondary school around the Bridgnorth area. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students build essential digital skills and develop a confident understanding of computing.

You’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking Computer Science/ICT department where innovation is encouraged and professional development is ongoing. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, this role offers the chance to make a real impact and contribute to a thriving school community.


You Will:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring Computer Science and/or IT lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Teach key topics such as programming (Python), algorithms, networks, cybersecurity, and data representation
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress effectively
  • Support students in preparing for Computer Science GCSEs
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

What We’re Looking For:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification with QTS/QTLS
  • Strong knowledge of Computer Science and programming (Python desirable) or Information Technology
  • Ability to teach KS3–KS4 confidently (KS5 experience beneficial)
  • Solid behaviour management strategies
  • Experience planning, marking, and delivering high‑quality lessons

Note: Planning and marking required only for short-term or long-term placements.
