Cover Supervisor

Lichfield (Secondary School)
Full-time basis for 1 term starting in June 2025
Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our team at a secondary school in Lichfield. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
– Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans provided by the absent teacher
– Managing behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
– Providing support and guidance to students as needed
– Liaising with teaching staff and school administration
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred but not required
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
– Reliable and punctual
– Flexibility to adapt to different subject areas and year groups

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
