About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be:

• Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils in line with school policies and expectations.
• Working closely with teaching and support staff to ensure continuity of learning.

This position is long-term, offering consistent work and the chance to build strong relationships with both staff and students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role.
• Confidence managing groups of secondary-aged students.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude and professional approach to working in education.
• Hold (or be willing to apply for) a valid DBS on the Update Service.
