Zest Education are working closely with several secondary schools in North Birmingham close to Sutton Coldfield, the schools are looking to recruit Cover Supervisors to start with them in May 2022, and continue for the rest of the academic year. Both part and full time positions are available.
These roles are extremely popular with people who have an interest in education, working with young people, gaining classroom experience, or have recently graduated.

The Role of a Cover Supervisor
A successful Cover Supervisor will be required to work in secondary schools delivering high quality pre-planned lessons to groups of 11-18 year old students.
Work will be pre-planned by the classroom teacher within the school, and you will be expected to deliver it to the students, manage behaviour and provide feedback to relevant people within schools.
What qualifications do I need?
To be a successful Cover Supervisor we look for experience of 20 days or more working with children and/or young people. This role is a great steppingstone to get into a career in teaching. Ideally you will hold a degree, but this isn’t a necessity.

Pay and remuneration:
A Cover Supervisor can expect to be paid between £64 £80 per day. Usual working hours will be between 8:30am – 3:30pm.
