About the Role

Zest Education is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and committed Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools in Bridgnorth and the surrounding areas.

This role is perfect for:

• Recent graduates
• Individuals with experience supporting young people
• Those exploring or preparing for a future career in teaching

Whether your background is in sports coaching, mentoring, youth work, volunteering, dance, outdoor education, or similar, your transferable skills are highly valued and directly applicable in the classroom.

We work closely with several local secondary schools that regularly require confident Cover Supervisors to deliver pre‑prepared lessons. Positions are available immediately, offering a brilliant opportunity to gain essential classroom experience while making a real difference in students’ learning.

What You Will Do

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver engaging, interactive pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a positive, focused, and supportive environment that encourages student participation.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to the classroom teacher after each lesson.
• Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring students remain on task and follow school expectations.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, helping you build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A passion for supporting young people, both academically and personally.
• Good literacy and numeracy, enabling you to support learning across the curriculum.
• Experience in a classroom setting (desirable but not essential).

Essential Criteria

To be considered, you must have one of the following:

• At least 20 days’ experience working with children or young people
  OR
• Be a recent university graduate
